pre-conference workshops
On Wednesday and Thursday, pre-conference workshops are available that address the special needs of specific segments of our CdLS community.
pre-conference workshops day June 22, 2022
So, you just learned your child or grandchild has CdLS – Now What?
Join CdLS veteran parents who will share their lived experience and answer the type of questions you might be afraid to ask of anyone else. What can I expect/hope for my child? What will the school/social experience be like? The CdLS Medical Director will also be present to answer any questions you may have.
Want to know more – take the discussion offline to the “Discussion Tables”.
Zoom is required to attend this session. Please be sure to have it downloaded, before the event begins.
This presentation will be uplifting, interactive and educational, as well as provide a good basic understanding of some important facts.
Topics of discussion include Transition, Employment, Financial, Government Benefits, Special Needs Trusts and Guardianship, and building a lifelong support network.
