A malrotation is a congenital internal abnormality of the intestinal tract. Part of the intestines is not rotated in the right way.

Duodenal atresia is the congenital absence or complete closure of part of the intestinal tract of the duodenum. 

An annular pancreas or annular pancreas is a congenital defect in which a ring of pancreatic tissue lies around rather than next to the duodenum. As a result, food cannot pass the small intestine or cannot pass it properly.
