Verbal communication

description

Verbal communication means expressing oneself in words (and/or sounds). Spoken language is an important means of communication between people.

Speech involves both the production of spoken words and sentences (speech production) and the understanding of spoken words and sentences (speech perception).

To be able to speak, the speaker must be able to convert thoughts into words and sentences and then convert them into a series of sound patterns using air from the lungs and the speech channel.

Spoken language produces mechanical vibrations in the listener's hearing organ, which are eventually translated in the brain into words and sentences with a certain meaning.
