Empowering Families: Learning to Navigate the Health Care System in the United States

Our goals in this workshop are to help you learn how to better care for your child with chronic and complex conditions and become a more effective partner in your child’s care in the medical home model. Wherever you are on your family’s journey, learning how to navigate your health insurance and the health care system and advocate for your child and family, and being aware of resources and tools to help you do so, will make the journey easier, with better outcomes.
