Scoliosis

For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine. It develops in approximately 30% of individuals with CdLS by 10 years of age and is common in adults with decreased mobility. Scoliosis in CdLS should be assessed at regular medical check-ups.
