Bone Age

Pytanie

Will my child’s bone age ever “catch up” to his chronological age?

Odpowiedź naszych ekspertów

In general, individuals with CdLS have bone ages that lag behind their chronologic age. It should grow as they grow. It just means that it will take them longer to grow compared to other children their age. Final size (height) will still be smaller than most of their peers. You should have available the CdLS growth charts which show heights up to the age of 18 years. It is likely that your child will stop growing in height by about 18 years or so.
