This workshop aims to educate and encourage families with a loved one that was diagnosed with HDAC8 to engage in open dialogue with one another. A genetic counselor and geneticist will open the session with an overview of the basic discoveries and answer questions. 

After the workshop, families are encouraged to head to the “Discussion Tables” to continue meeting with one another to share stories, resources, and information.
