Arbeitskreis Cornelia de Lange Syndrom e.V.
- Unterstützung und Betreuung der betroffenen Familien bei der Akzeptierung der Diagnose und Bewältigung des Alltags.
- Förderung des Erfahrungsaustausches z.B. Deutschlandtreffen im Zwei-Jahres -Rhytmus, Freizeiten oder Regionaltreffen.
- Vermittlung von Ansprechpartnern und Kontakten.
- Mitgliederzeitung (Rundbrief) mit Erfahrungsberichten, Artikeln, Briefen und vielen weiteren Informationen unserer Mitglieder.
- Sammeln und Weitergabe von medizinischen, therapeutischen und rechtlichen Informationen.
- Kontakpflege zu Medizinern
- Information, Sensibilisierung und Erfahrungsaustausch mit Medizinern und Mitarbeitern in Einrichtungen in denen CdLS Betroffene betreut werden.
- Vertretung des Arbeitskreises auf medizinischen Kongressen.
- Präsentation des Arbeitskreises in der Öffentlichkeit.
- Objektive Darstellung des Cornelia de Lange - Syndroms in der Fachliteratur in Verbindung mit den
Unsere Mission
Wir bemühen uns Brücken zu bauen, Wege zueinander zu finden und Begegnungen zu ermöglichen. So veranstalten wir Regionaltreffen, gemeinsame Freizeiten und alle zwei Jahre unser Deutschlandtreffen mit Fachvorträgen.
Auch über unsere Vereinszeitschrift findet ein reger Informationsaustausch statt.

Unser Arbeitskreis wurde 1994 gegründet und hat zur Zeit über 220 Mitglieder, davon ca. 150 Eltern von CdLS-Kindern.Wir sind in ganz Deutschland aktiv, helfen aber auch Familien in unseren Nachbarländern mit Informationen.Eltern, die zum ersten Mal Kontakt mit uns aufnehmen, sind froh Ansprechpartner zu finden, die ähnliche Probleme haben.Wir wissen wie wichtig es ist, Informationen und Erfahrungen möglichst früh an betroffene Familien weiter zu geben.
