7th CdLS World Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina

General Information:
The CdLS World Federation organizes a biennial family conference on CdLS as well as a scientific symposium in different parts of the world. The last conference was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Now it is Latin-America’s turn! The conference is being held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
An Opportunity for Families to Meet:
The family conference is a comprehensive program offering families an opportunity to learn about the latest research on CdLS and new treatment strategies for individuals affected by CdLS (even before this information is public). Many health professionals will be available to meet with you and assess your child for free.
The general sessions at the conference will be conducted in Spanish and English. If a group from a specific country has more than 10 families attending, we will try to provide simultaneous translations for that language. We are hoping to have a maximum of 3 to 4 languages covered.
We are planning on have a sibling and young adult outing for those attending the family conference. There will also be a variety of evening activities for the whole family.
International Scientific Symposium:
The scientific symposium is composed of international medical and scientific CdLS experts who come together to discuss the latest research and share information on clinical treatments.
The CdLS World Federation is composed of leaders of the national CdLS support groups and professional leaders that meet biennially. This group meets with the Scientific Advisory Council allowing for them to share experiences and professional information as well.
Professional Conference:
Children with CdLS struggle with autism-like spectrum disorder as well as a multitude of medical problems. This one-day conference will give participants the latest medical models for dealing with these concurrent problems facing families and individuals with CdLS. The sharing of this information can assist families today as well as into the future.

- Education
